Commercial Water Hose Reel

For a Commercial Water Hose Reel, You Can Count on Us

Looking for a commercial water hose reel that meets your requirements can be difficult and time-consuming. At Reel Tech, we turn your hose storage problem into a ‘reel’ solution. Our years of experience and high-quality reels have much to offer you and your business. Whether you want to create high or low pressure, let us help you find your ideal reel.

Tips for Getting More Value Out of a Commercial Water Hose Reel

We enjoy informing our customers on what our products can do for them; we aim to be there and to assist with your hose storage no matter your demands. Here are some tips to help you get the most out of your commercial water hose reel.

  • Purchase spare wall brackets if you need to use your hose reel in more than one place. This versatility ensures that you can quickly move the reel around for convenient use when you need it.
  • If you can’t attach a permanent fixture to the walls, use a steel mounting post that can support the weight of the reel as an easily removable setup.
  • Keep your hose and reel clean. When you notice dirt building up on the hose or inside the reel, use a wet cloth to wipe everything down as you let it slowly retract into the reel housing to keep dirt from clogging it.

Problems That a Commercial Water Hose Reel Addresses

Owning a commercial water hose reel can help you with solving problems you didn’t even know you had in the workplace. Here are some issues that owning one of our reels will address.

  • Prevents tripping hazards.
  • Helps to maintain water hoses.
  • Prevents bending or knotting of the hose while in storage.
  • Saves time when cleaning up at the end of the day.

Oxy-Acetylene Hose Reels

Install an Oxy-Acetylene Hose Reel in Your Workplace for Fast Clean Up

An oxy-acetylene hose reel keeps hoses detangled and prolongs the life of your hose. Reel Tech offers high quality solutions for hose storage that keep workplaces free from tripping risks. Keeping your workplace neat benefits everyone.

Common Mistakes People Make Regarding Oxy-Acetylene Hose Reels

Workers like to pick up where they left off so they can complete a project efficiently. Storing tools should be mandatory at the end of each shift to keep the workplace tidy.

  • You may have a worker that produces the best work but doesn’t clean up after themselves. Introducing a hose reel can make clean-up fast and easy without excuses.
  • Kinks in hoses can cause serious issues if not addressed. A kink can interrupt the flow of gas causing a build-up that could be dangerous.

Tips for Getting More Value Out of Oxy-Acetylene Hose Reels

Storing your hoses protects them from damage and protects workers from tripping hazards.

  • Hose reels protect your hoses from accidental damage from kinking and other unforeseen occurrences.
  • Hoses left lying across the floor of your workplace increases the likelihood of someone tripping and falling, causing bodily injury and other damages.

Keeping your hose rolled up between uses prolongs the life of the hose and eliminates easily-preventable workplace hazards.

Why Reel Tech is Cost Effective

We are an exclusive distributor of the Hannay hose reel line. The heavy-duty construction and customisation offer you a safe way to store unused hoses properly. Most Hannay spring reel models are available with an air governor rewind assist, which prevents the hose from winding back onto the reel too quickly. Speed is regulated by restricting air flow through an air governor attached to the rewind mechanism. The result is smooth, controlled rewind speed each and every time.

Unlike other speed control mechanisms designed for spring rewind reels, there are 3 major advantages to the Hannay design:

    1. Highly scalable – The air speed control governor can be scaled up to regulate speed on even the most powerful spring reels we offer. Other designs can only work on light-duty springs. 2. Operates in all climates – Because the AG Series uses air flow to control speed (not hydraulic fluid, which can change viscosity depending on temperature), the reel’s rewind speed is controlled and unaffected, even by cold weather. 3. Fully adjustable – The end-user can turn the air restrictor clockwise or counterclockwise until the optimal rewind speed is found for the application.
